Beaches Ochio Rios

Beaches Ocho Rios is among the top-rated allinclusive resorts that I have had the privilege to stay at. The resort offers the ultimate beachfront family getaway in Jamaica. Beaches and Sandals boast that they offer more quality inclusions than any other resorts in the world and they do not disappoint.
From the moment you arrive in Montego Bay and enter the Sandals Lounge to await your transfer to Beaches Ocho Rios, you are taken care of by friendly staff. The transfer is about two hours from the airport and during your ride, you can take in the sights of the Jamaican countryside.  Check in is easy and streamlined and before you know it, you are in your room and enjoying all the resort has to offer.
The resort itself in beautiful with a great stretch of white sand beach, amazing pools and a fabulous water park. The waterpark offers eleven waterslides and is a great place to play for guests of all ages. There is a kiddie pool in the waterpark so families of all ages can enjoy time together.
The green spaces at the resort are well maintained and spacious with designated spaces to play and relax. Available land sports include basketball, tennis, table tennis, pool tables, shuffleboard, croquet, board games and outdoor chess. Boredom is never an issue at Beaches Ocho Rios!
There are three villages at Beaches Ocho Rios – the Caribbean Village is nearest to the lobby and the French & Greek Villages are nearest to the beach and offer ocean views. My accommodations were in the Greek Village.  The accommodations were spacious with a large outdoor sitting area, ocean view and easy access to the beach. A good thing to note is that Beaches Ocho Rios offers several room categories which can accommodate families of five.
For families with younger children, the evening entertainment offers a Sesame Street themed show and for a special treat, parents can book a visit from a Sesame Street character for their children.
The kid’s clubs are amazing, and the Xbox Lounge is a fantastic place to get your gaming fix.
The dining choices are also great – there are a total of seven restaurants. I tried the Italian, BBQ, Pizzeria, Creperie, Mediterranean and the buffet, and they all were great. Another good thing to note is  if you have clients with dietary restrictions, send the resort a message and they will make sure to provide suitable cuisine to the guest with restrictions.
